Still very much shaken by the death of his lover Vesper Lynd, James Bond wounds and kidnaps the mysterious Mr. White and discovers with M that he is part of a mysterious secret organisation named Quantum who was behind Vesper’s duplicitous behaviour which ultimately cost her her life. Investigating Quantum, Bond uncovers that the ecologist Dominic Greene is not what he appears to be and is also part of the secret organisation that are in fact plotting to blockade Bolivia’s supply of fresh water.
